Mark Stolk

Mark Stolk, født 27. juli 1964 i Delft, Holland, har en B.A. i kunst og kunsthistorie uddannet fra kunstakademierne i Rotterdam og Utrecht i årene 1983-1991.

Jeg flyttede i 1991 til Danmark og bor og arbejder for nuværende i Mern, som selvstændig kunstner og kunstlærer.

Jeg har haft mange internationale udstillinger gennem årene. Her skal nævnes nogle få: Galleri Beckmann, Galleri Gerly og Galleri Bastillen i København, Galleri Warrer på Møn, Gallery Artipico i Rotterdam, Casa Massacio i San Giovanni Valdarno, Italien og Gallery Artefact på Manhattan, New York.

Jeg underviser i klassiske maleteknikker, portræt, landskab, 3D, og trompe l'oeil, marmorering og stilleben, og er en internationalt anerkendt ekspert på farver med artikler i flere magasiner. Jeg har rejst over hele verden og afholdt undervisning og workshops om farvernes indflydelse, skønhed, rolle og funktion indenfor kunsten.

Mark Stolk, born the 27th of July 1964 in Delft, Holland, has a BA degree in arts and in art history with educations on the art academies of Rotterdam and Utrecht in the period 1983-1991.

In 1991 he moved to Denmark, where he currently lives and works in Mern as independant artist and art teacher.

He has had many international exhibitions throughout the years. To mention a few: Gallery Beckmann, Gallery Gerly and Gallery Bastillen in Copenhagen, Gallery Warrer on Møn, Gallery Artipico in Rotterdam, Casa Massacio in San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy and Gallery Artefact on Manhattan in New York.

Mark Stolk teaches classical painting techniques (Portrait, landscape, 3D and Trompe lóeil, marbling techniques and still life) and is an international acknowledged expert on colour with publications in many different magazines. He has travelled throughout the world with lectures and workshops on the influence of colour, beauty and the role and function of art.
